awol is an independent distribution entity specialising in sales, pre-sales and co-production financing of animated tv series for the international marketplace. Founded in August 2004, awol now represents shows from prizewinning European studios including: Les Films de l’Arlequin,Planet Nemo France, Zeppelin Filmes Portugal, Kickback Media UK, Belgian prodco Mameli, Plug-N-Play, Madame Mo, The Yippees and Le Regard Sonore France, Sansoucis Productions France.
New producers joining the awol catalogue in time for Mipcom '08 include French based Image-In Paris, creators of Cartoon Forum '08 hit "Beast in the Box" and Ireland's Emmy award winning studio, Telegael, creators of "Katie & Rookie".
